We are here to lend a helping hand!
Our Corporation is Pa-Paws and Claws - applied for 501C status with the government.
Our Board of Directors are:
a group of dedicated women who are concerned with the state of affairs for people who have fallen into distress and cannot care for their pets.
Our Pet Food Pantry has one mission - and that is to help people that need to be on Food Stamps or have a temporary money problem. The Pantry helps to feed those pets for a time, to keep them out of the shelters, where they often end up because there is no money to feed them. We also institute a temporary care program that is ground in the believe that all Seniors need to have a pet if they are alone. Research has shown that Seniors are less often sick and live a longer healthier life if they are taking care of a pet. Giving their pet into a temporary care may be an option for someone who lost their home or falls sick and has no place to put the pet for a time. Our mission is to put a pet into every senior home, either as a foster or as an adoption. We help with pet food and health care for the pet.
Our location at the moment is at1036 Pennsylvania Ave Matamoras,Pa 18337 generously donated by Chaba Pallaghy owner of the Building.
